The Right Choice is currently recruiting a Cost Accounting Clerk for a local manufacturing company. Ideal candidates should have 1+ years of experience in Accounting or as a Cost Accounting Clerk, experience within a manufacturing environment preferred. The Cost Accounting Clerk will be responsible for reviewing the cost of work in progress by reviewing and analyzing work orders and job orders. The Cost Accounting Clerk will also be responsible for reviewing the completed manufacturing jobs, evaluating the cost of work, and providing analytical data to assist in pricing future jobs. This person must be comfortable with analyzing data, graphs, charts, work orders, and other reports. Desired skills include detail-oriented, analytical, possess excellent mathematical skills, excellent and accurate data entry skills.

Cost Accounting Clerk Skills and Requirements:

  • Accounting experience, or college accounting courses at a minimum
  • Strong math and computer skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work full time Monday - Friday, plus overtime and Saturdays as needed
  • Detail oriented
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 / hour DOE
